Salvage Missions replace the original wreck system from NQ and build a brand new gameplay loop for those that love searching for abandoned constructs. By picking up a mission, you will be given an initial location which you need to first visit before firing off a series of scans from the mission terminal to pinpoint the location of the salvage construct. Once you reach the construct you have 3 options:

 1. Claim the construct as your own by replacing the core
 2. Salvage the construct by pulling the parts off of it to claim as your own
 3. Delete the construct if you have no interest in keeping anything

Mission Pickup

â„šī¸

 1. You can only pick up 1 mission at a time
 2. There is a limit of 4 missions per day.
 3. Cancelled missions count towards your daily limit.
 4. All elements on wrecks have 1 life, they can be salvaged, replaced or repaired.

Salvage Missions can be picked up from the Mission Terminal in the "Salvage" tab and selecting “Accept” on the mission.

Recommended Mission Items

We recommend that you carry following elements on your ship on Salvage Missions:

 1. Salvage Bot
 2. 1-2 Containers (Can use existing ship storage)
 3. Mission Terminal
 4. Dynamic Cores - XS, S, M, + L
 5. Pilot Seats - Hovercraft, Remote Controller, Command + Cockpit
 6. Scrap
 7. Emergency Control Unit (ECU)

Dynamic cores will allow you to claim wrecks that spawn. Sometimes Pilot Seats have RDMS enabled, and to disable RDMS you need to pick up the seat. The seat you pick up will have lost element lives, so you will not be able to use backspace to place it back to remove the DRM.
