Sanctuary is a moon located within the safe zone near Alioth. Every territory on Sanctuary contains an ore pool with a base rate of 25 L/h of each tier 2 ore. No other ores are available here, apart from the small surface rocks scattered across the landscape. Sanctuary is intended to provide players with a modest supply of tier 2 ores without requiring long-distance travel. Tip - Additional ore can be obtained by using Mining Unit Calibrations

To claim a territory on Sanctuary, you need to a Sanctuary Territory Unit XL. This can be crafted from your nanopack using seven Reward Disks

There is currently no limit on the amount of territories you can claim on Sanctuary. Many people opt to to make a “flower” of territories for a small steady stream of T2 ore.

Note that territories on other planets offer up to 200 of a tier 2 ore in a single territory, though you will need to travel and use a territory scanner to find these, which can take time.
